This pure cotton Kasavu saree has printed block that tells a story. The elephants with a red umbrella depict the grand procession that takes place during the festival of Onam in kerala. It is the regal elephant ride that makes this parade a magnificent affair.
Both white and red are colours of cultural significance. While white stands for purity and simplicity. Red symbolises exuberance. It is an auspicious colour that is believed to protect an inner wisdom.
